Introduction to the Amirsoy Expansion Project

Uzbekistan is about to change the map of winter tourism forever. The Amirsoy Expansion Project is set to create Central Asia’s largest interconnected ski area by combining Amirsoy with the historic slopes of Chimgan and Beldersay. Together, they will form a mega-resort with around 100 kilometers of ski runs.

Amirsoy — The Flagship Winter Destination

Amirsoy, which opened in 2019, has quickly become the country’s flagship winter destination. Today, it offers around 15 km of slopes, modern gondolas and chairlifts, and high-end chalets. But demand has grown fast — and the next phase is nothing short of transformative.

Amirsoy Expansion Plans

New slopes will spread deeper into the mountains, including a 16.8 km signature ski trail on the western side. Freeride zones will be added for advanced skiers, while new gondolas and chairlifts will dramatically increase lift capacity. Beyond skiing, the resort will add major four-season attractions: a water park, a 2 km zipline, and new restaurants with seating for more than 2,400 guests.

Accommodation and the Beldersay Link

Two new hotels — one four-star and one five-star — will add 350 beds, finally solving Amirsoy’s accommodation shortage. But the biggest game-changer is the lift connection to Beldersay. Soon, skiers will be able to travel between Amirsoy and Beldersay without stepping into a car.

Redevelopment of Chimgan and Beldersay

This link is part of a broader transformation that includes a full redevelopment of Chimgan and Beldersay. The plan includes six new lifts, among them an 80-person aerial tram to the 3,309 m summit of Mount Chimgan, plus 20+ km of new trails. Four-Season Resort and Project Timeline
