Ak-Bulak is one of the last untouched mountain valleys in Kyrgyzstan. No ski lifts, no hotels, no resorts—just raw alpine wilderness rising high above the Issyk-Kul region near Karakol.

But that’s all going to change, because Ak-Bulak is set to become the second major resort in the Ala-Too Mega Resort Project—one of the largest ski developments in Central Asia’s history.
